Wouldn't it be a good idea to make this an actual plan, and practice before the apocalypse actually happens? You never know, ... it might make the apocalypse a lot more fun than it otherwise might have turned out to be, ....
The plan has to work for people who don't have access to radio modems and off-the-shelf transceivers, of course, ... and for people who aren't trained radio HAMs, ... so it has to be based on principles of disciplined actions in the greater interests of the common good.
