At 3 minutes 25 seconds, on writing from the atheist basis that everything ends with empirical truth, Nick Cave says that his writing reaches beyond that. It is abundantly clear to me, since the first time I heard him sing, at Cambridge Folk Festival in 1999, that his writing comes from somewhere beyond that.
