However, the real underlying problem is not even on these people's radar. The politicians as well as the political analysts like Nekrasov don't know anything about it, so they don't talk about it.

But look at this. Since the early 2000's the amount of "moral money" invested in so-called "Environmental Social and Governance principles" has gone from a few billion to US$23 trillion.

This is just money laundering, and it has had zero effect in terms of the good it has done, unless you count bringing the global economy to its knees and destroying the lives of billions of poor people as a good effect.
