At 4 mins 33 secs he says "You have to look at the pattern of investment: amount of money they're spending on renewable energy in comparison to the amount of money they're putting into brand new oil and gas projects" It's half a billion on renewables versus 16 billion on oil and gas. Unfortunately Porritt is missing the point, which is that the amount of money bears no relation whatsoever to the real effectiveness (in terms if the real value to humanity as a whole) of the investment.
