TSA Searches of Phones and Laptops Increasing

The TSA is now doing six times as many warrantless searches of data on phones and laptops of travellers passing through US airports than it did in 2012. Apparently they are doing this on behalf of other agencies who would not have legal rights to do this themselves, without first obtaining a warrant.

Perhaps its this sort of problem?
