In response to calls for a recount in the disputed general election of a week ago ,Vice President Álvaro García Linera today justified the blockade by campesinos and cocaleros of the main road between Cochabamba and Santa Cruz de la Sierra and called for the closure of other roads in the country by affiliates of the ruling party MAS.
