Russian-Amerucan ATC cooperation

Air Traffic Controllers in Anchorage, Alaska, and Magadan, Russia are 1,800 miles apart, but in constant communication with each other handing aircraft over to each other's zones. And this was the first time some of them saw each other's faces. Apparently it was because in 1991 American and Russian schoolchildren exchanged letters and the cities became twinned. ❤️
