Hing Kong's WWII Guerilla Army


During the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong in WWII, Chinese guerilla fighters based in Guangdou Province on mainland China fought the Japanese military. They were badly under-supplied towards the end of the war. They did not have enough anaesthetic, or surgical equipment. One soldier had to have a leg amputated with a hatchet.
