Remember how Mattis announced the Space Force on the same day SpaceX was scheduled to lauch some huge pule of crap into orbit. I forget precisely what crap it was. This happened towards the end of last year. I think this report should be filed under "economics", not "space", or "defense". The US Economy has already collapsed. We are now just waiting for someone to actually admit it. We may have to wait another few years, by which point the situation will be irretrievably lost. If that happens then America is looking at 99 years under a caretaker government. That will be pretty interesting!
