Putin Scheduled to Visit Bolivia in 2019.

According to this La Razon piece from February this year, the Russian Ambassador to Bolivia has confirmed that Vladimir Putin has scheduled a visit to Bolivia this year, to discuss, amongst other things, a centre for nuclear research and an experimental nuclear reactor. All this was being publicised in December 2015, in the run-up to the referendum of 21 February 2016, which was to decide whether or not to amend the constitution to allow a president to run for reelection indefinitely. The result was "no", but the president declared it null and void, and they seem to have amended the constitution anyway, because Evo Morales is apparently running for reelection in December this year. So if Putin is going to visit, he'd be well-advised to do it before the election, and be aware that any deals entered into are going to be of doubtful legal standing.

And it is not just the Russian Ambassador that has been involved in election interference here. It's probably all of them, because there is so much dirt that if anyone managed to restore the rule of law here, ... well, we'd have build a fuck of a lot of new prisons!  I have already mentioned the Swiss "Honorary Consul" in Cochabamba.  It's the British too, who sent a "trade delegation" last year, around the time the Skripal's story broke, supposedly to talk about the trans-continental railway! 😂 And in February this year, I think, they were here advising on airport security, according Jill Benton, who's supposed to be the Vice Consul at the British Embassy in La Paz. It's a pity they didn't talk to me about that, because I did an investigation into airport security here a couple of years ago, during an international trade fare, and the results were fucking hilarious!
