The people who say that Assange's prosecution under the espionage act is a threat to journalists and journalism never seem to feel obliged to explain why they think this. Just because it's obvious to you doesn't mean it is true, you know. The reason the espionage act has not been used since 1917 is because, for over a century, no spy was stupid enough to publish, in full, all of the secrets he stole.
